Stein on WFMU Wed. night; Live & Blabbing
Noah, host of Coffee Break For Heroes And Villains on WFMU, kindly invited me to come on his show this Wednesday night (that's tomorrow) 11 PM - 2 AM to play a whole bunch of my productions and talk endlessly about the wondefulness that is me.
The station streams on the web, and Noah's shows are archived for people who have to work or are otherwise gainfully occupied.
I'll be playing and talking about a bunch of my own stuff, as well as records that influenced me and Douglas. I was planning to fill the gaps in the show by tying Noah up and doing some live mixing, but my brand new Macbook Pro - two weeks old, with all the software, hardware, bells and whistles, which I planned to bring with me to do the deed - decided to trash itself, and is in the shop, so I may just bring a comb and wax paper and hum a few old favorites while Noah beats time on a pie pan with a soup ladle.
Tune in and see what happens; I'm rather curious about it myself.
