Rupert Murdoch strikes again

Consider the various Fox and Murdoch media properties; bags of shit, every one of them.

The latest example is from The New York Post, a Republican comic book inhabiting the dead body of a newspaper.

See, there’s this chimp in Connecticut that goes berserk and gets shot by the cops, and there’s the stimulus bill. What a natural pairing, eh?

Several people have taken issue with this.

Its instructive to read what the Post spins about its “editorial policy”:

Col Allen, Post Editor in Chief - “The cartoon is a clear parody of a current news event, to wit the shooting of a violent chimpanzee in Connecticut,” he said. “It broadly mocks Washington’s efforts to revive the economy.”

Sure.
