Proof that Bush had the mental capacity of a challenged 11 year-oldAnd I mean no offense to challenged 11 year-olds.

Perhaps you’ve heard how Rumsfeld and the other slimeballs helped jolly Bush along as the Iraq war began to fail? Bush’s daily briefings (mostly BS, as it turns out) had covers made up of “inspirational” PR photographs from the army, captioned with bible verses about the victorious armies of Christ vs. the infidels.

Maybe it would have been even better if Rumsfeld had sat down with Bush and read him the briefings while pointing at the pictures.

This came from a Frank Rich piece in this weekend’s NY Times about how Obama is losing the battle to keep a lid on the cesspool of Bush’s administration. Plenty more stuff in there to raise your blood pressure.

On the other hand, I agree with Obama; let’s not obsess about the past. Probably best to hang Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and Gonzales for war crimes ASAP. Then we can all move on with a fresh, clean feeling and put Rove in jail for 50 years or so.
