Blame It On Steinski

Looking for cheap, fast internet service? Leave the country.

According to Consumer Reports for November 2009: “Other countries offer faster, cheaper broadband connections. For example, U.S. consumers pay almost twice as much for connections that are on average 20 times slower than those in Japan.”

Steinski, here in Ireland it’s worse. If it’s not one broadband provider going Kaput (Smart Telecom) it’s the national provider (Eircom) providing one of the qworst customer supoprt experiences IN EUROPE! Ireland poisitions itself this side of the Atlantic as ‘the digital hub of Europe’ however we have over 100,00 people living in rural Ireland who can’t even use dial-up internet connections because the interference on the line causes havoc with their 56k modems (remember them – we do!)
