A rare domestic gig

I’m happy to announce I’ll be playing at the RE/mixed media festival 2010, this coming Sunday, May 30. It’s inside the Galapagos Art Space in the Dumbo neighborhood of Brooklyn.

It’s a most-of-the-day affair, with all kinds of rambunctious communicating going on. I’m  playing a  45 minute set beginning at 10:15 PM.

I’m laboring away on a set of funky underpinnings, interwoven with spoken word, as well as full remix tracks of my own creation, all covered over with an uneven layer of sloppy artistical stuff. And a frilly toothpick.

The festival is free, you cheapskate. And if you’re too busy even to bring your face into the place, the whole shebang will stream live. So you can lie around eating peeled grapes in your sauna while the iPad carries the festivities, tracks your investments, and Twitters your every move.
