(1) Where have I been? (2) Where am I going? (3) What's happening?
(1) My apologies to everyone who checked this page for the zillionth time, found nothing going on, and figured I'd just fallen the hell off and that was the end of it.
Truth of the matter is, I've received some dramatic news of a personal nature, and I've had to alter my plans and do some serious scrambling to adjust. My posts will be sparse in nature until the end of May, after which I won't be posting for at least a month in order to deal with some major changes.
(2) My last DJ appearance for the summer will be, um, this Saturday at Club 6 in San Francisco. Flyer above. Sorry for the short notice, but as I said, I've been scrambling.
(3) In the next week, I hope to (finally) post a link so that Douglas and I can sell downloads of WHO OWNS CULTURE? DOUBLE DEE & STEINSKI LIVE IN NYC, our set as openers for DJ Shadow & Cut Chemist's Hard Sell tour. As to why I haven't done this sooner, please see (1) above. In the meantime, the Illegal Art retrospective collection (2 CD's) of my stuff will be available at several outlets, including Illegal.Art.net at the end of May.
